General comments to Downloads
| The spreadsheets, EXE-programs and papers mentioned in Downloads can be freely downloaded, and they are with one exception written by Jorgen Wagner. They are technical and they demand membrane process knowledge. There is between little and no help built in. | |
| About Errors.
There may be errors in formulae and in the papers. But
none are known to me in this moment. If errors are reported I can mostly fix them fast.
Please report problems, errors, error messages, wishes to programs etc to
| The spreadsheets
(XLS) are easy to install and difficult to keep in good
shape. There is password protection on all cells except for those where data input is needed.
If you mess up a sheet the best is probably to download it again. Written in Microsoft Excel. Notice that Corel QuattroPro can read the files without problems.
| EXE-files can not be messed up, but there
may be a few problems with files needed by the programs. At worst, the
program will not run at all. Once the program runs: use TAB (or SHIFT TAB)
to move from field to field in the VBWin programs. All EXE-programs are written In MS Visual Basic. Some in VB for DOS and some in VB6 for Windows. All are compiled to EXE-files.
| About Win2000 and WinXP.
They handle non-windows programs poorly. In order to run EXE files with a minimum of problems it is
recommended to right-click on the EXE-file and set the properties as follows: Font : Bitmap only Screen : Window Compatibility : Windows 95
| The papers are written in Word Perfect and published in PDF format. Adobe Acrobat
Reader (or the full version) is necessary to see the papers. The Adobe Acrobat Reader
is installed on most PCs and MACs these days. If you do not have it, it can be freely
downloaded from www.Adobe.com. All files have been ZIP-ed for faster download and to avoid problems with mail delivery. I suggest to use PowerArchiver to UNZIP (and to ZIP) files.
